Tim Elliott is a marketer, blogger and entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in product management and marketing communications across diverse industries including publishing, software, professional services, and hospitality. He has worked in both business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) settings. Since 2006, Tim has integrated conversational marketing tactics into the overall marketing activities for technology and wine industry clients.

After 13 years at Eastman Kodak in the professional photography and printing verticals, Tim moved to the Twin Cities to join WAM!NET, a Web 1.0 start-up delivering private networking and workflow management software as a service (SaaS). There he led marketing in the publishing industry before taking on global marketing for publishing, entertainment and medical verticals. In 2003 he joined Datalink, an enterprise storage VAR to start-up and run their professional services practice. While at Datalink, he discovered podcasting and started Winecast, the first wine podcast, in 2004. Tim founded Acan Media, his own social marketing practice, in 2006. This practice has grown to encompass both wine industry and technology clients.
