Fatblogging took a week off for me here but not in my eating habits (well, mostly anyway). I was traveling last week, which is always tough diet-wise, but managed to drop another pound. This was despite a healthy steak dinner Monday night topped off with a piece of pumpkin pie and a huge hamburger Wednesday night (my first bread in over a month). My daily exercise also suffered but for the most part I stuck with the salads and light dinners on the other nights.

Before my red-eye Saturday morning I walked around downtown San Francisco and even retraced my steps up Nob Hill I last walked in January. This time I didn’t need to stop several times to reach the top but I also didn’t have my 20 pound briefcase with me so it’s not truly apples to apples. Still satisfying and now I’m fully back on the program.

Walked my 3.5 mile route around the neighborhood earlier and had my breakfast of yogurt and coffee. I’m looking forward to dipping below the 200 mark later this month as I’ve not been there for a few years. I also expect the next 10 pounds to take twice as long as the first…
