Yes, friends, I couldn’t wait until tomorrow to check my weight. Somehow I just felt lighter this morning so I jumped on the scale and have lost 3 pounds this week. Nice, but I’m not expecting a repeat performance on week 2; I’ll be happy with 2 lbs. a week or so… although it would be cool to get to 200 by April 1st.
Walked on the treadmill 30+ minutes listening to CalacanisCast beta 12; will finish the show snow-blowing and shoveling after I post this (check it out; it’s his best yet). Speaking of Jason Calacanis, he actually posted some encouragement here; thanks, man, and sorry it went into the moderation queue last night (there have been issues with Spam Karma false positives since I moved to WordPress 2.1). Future comments should go right on the blog.
Now off to deal with the first wave of snowfall; looks like we’ll be having a pretty good storm here today…
my advice is be happy with one pound a week…. take it easy on the intensity of the work out and focus on doing a workout five out of seven days. that’s what i’m doing and i’m feeling so much better then when i tried to do huge workouts and starve myself. i think slow is best… but, if you’re liking the quicker results i guess that’s ok too.

Thanks, Jason. I’ll lower my expectations to 16 oz. each week… only 19 weeks to go then 😉
I’m also trying to figure out this Twitter thing; interesting, but kind of creepy at the same time.
