Social Media The Tactic of Choice in 2010

It was good to see social media as the most increased marketing tactic for 2010 widely outdistancing SEO and email marketing. It’s obvious that social marketing is still in early days and the 2nd and 3rd place tactics have been around for a decade or more (quite a bit more in the case of email marketing).
But the most interesting part of this study was that LinkedIn was the most important social network beating out Facebook. How does a marketer leverage LinkedIn (aside from headhunters)? I will ponder this one for a while…
