Wordpress is one of the best and yet the most easiest CMS in the planet. It has a lot of plugins that are very useful.

Ben: Thesis is a great framework for building Wordpress websites. I find myself using it 90% of the time now. See you at the MSP Wordpress meeting in February.

Tim, thanks for the article recognizing WordPress as a CMS option. I've created a couple (non-blog) corporate sites with custom-designed themes and non-programmer CMS control via WordPress. I'm also currently building out a site on Thesis. Look forward to sharing insights.

@Eric: I agree Contact Form 7 is a nice plug-in and I use it for some projects. But for anything that needs a bit more styling, I use cforms.

I'm doing a project now with Wordpress MU. Will post about my experiences when complete. First impression is that it's not that much more complicated than Wordpress.

I agree with all of them except the cforms2. I love Contact Form 7 - http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/contact-form-7/screenshots/ - and have never found any tasks that it can't do it for me (plus its GPL so WP friendly).

I've also heard of companies using mu Wordpress (http://mu.wordpress.org) for company sites to maintain the separate segments (though I can't think/find an example for the life of my at the moment)

Great post! Sorry I couldn't make it to the meeting tonight.
