MinneDemo 3
I’m a week late but I thought I would post some quick reflections of MinneDemo 3.
Well over 300 people there; a good mix of friends and new faces. The most value was in the conversations and networking as it was the last time.
All the demos were interesting but a couple were really intriguing:
- Pokeware showed their technology to embed links into video keyframes. This will make for some interesting business models (imagine this combined with YouTube, for example); check out their NBA proof of concept here.
- Crashplan showed their Linux client and a new small business backup solution (basically a multi-user version of their core software). I’ve been using this since I saw their talk at MinneBar this spring; highly recommended.
I’m looking forward to the next event coming up in December. Great job again from Dan and Luke.
If you are looking for more details, check out Graeme’s summery here.
